We were facing a significant dilemma. On one hand it was imperative to increase efficiency by supplanting outdated equipment. On the other, the business could only afford minmal production outage time during a peak demand period. CCS set about developing a conveyor solution that could be built and proven off-site. This facilitated an implementation plan that alleviated risk and ensured that production outage was limited. We were impressed not only by the logistics considerations, but also by the innovation shown by the CCS team
Having had previous experience with CCS on a similar project, they were our preferred partner. Notwithstanding, CCS put forward a very competetive offer for the entire project. Post engagement, the priority task was to identify component parts and ascertain completeness. A demanding task in itself considering the extent of plant and equipment involved. Site implementation was equally challenging and further complicated by ongoing civil works at the final location. Thanks in no small part to the excellent work by the entire CCS crew, the relocation project was completed to schedule. Furthermore, successful commissioning and production ramp-up to full capacity was acheived soon after.
I’m a big fan of CCS and their conveyors. They produce quality and robust equipment, offering value for money. From an implementation viewpoint, the site crew make it simple for us here.
